OUR MISSION STATEMENT

We are a Roman Catholic community who are called by baptism to be led and nourished by the Word and Sacraments and to live our faith through servant leadership.

Sanctuary Renovation and Expansion

Placement of the tabernacle in the sanctuary, a new pipe organ and additional seating, were the objectives that initiated the sanctuary renovation and expansion of Saint Louis de Montfort Church, said Father Pat Click, Pastor. As The town of Fishers has grown, so too has Saint Louis de Montfort Parish. With the relocation of the cry room, an addition to the Church as well as the expanded interior space, we will have over 100 additional seats. The basement was expanded at the same time for additional storage. More important is the placement of the tabernacle in the sanctuary, that was previously located in the Adoration Chapel. A local artist was commissioned to design and build the 13 foot metal sculpted enclosure reaching for the highest heavens that will house the tabernacle. Behind the tabernacle will be a magnificent new pipe organ. By relocating the restrooms and storage space we gained square footage in the narthex to provide for a more convenient gathering space both before and after Mass. The ultimate goal is to remove conversations from taking place in the church - a place for worship and prayer in the presence of the Holy Eucharist within the tabernacle. We anticipate eleven weeks of transition where temporary relocations are in place for the Adoration Chapel to be in Craig Willy Hall, Daily Mass in the Ministry Center and weekend Mass to take place in the gymnasium.
