Get Connected at St. Louis de Monfort!

A parish is only as strong as it's parishioners and their involvement in building God's church. Here are the programs we offer:

FOR KIDS:

Preschool Age 3 through 5th Grade Religious Education/Faith Formation

This ministry provides Roman Catholic religious education / faith formation for children ages 3-4 and grades K-5.

FOR YOUTH:

the_edge

This ministry provides religious education mingled with service, prayer, and social experiences for ALL parish youth in grades 6-8. Edge nights are select Sundays, through the school year. Adults are needed for Core team, chaperones and food preparation for each Edge Night. All Core members must be protocol certified :)

life_teen

This high school youth ministry encourages teens to grow closer to Christ, through the centerpieces of our faith: The Eucharist and Mary (see the table and rose in the logo above!). Each year Life Teen attends weekly Life Nights, retreats, service encounters and social activities. Core Members are needed to prepare and facilitate weekly Life nights and/or to participate in retreats or other YM events. Core Members must be at least 20 years of age with protocol certification:)

FOR YOUNG ADULTS:

Ignite_Email

Ignite is a ministry at the parish for anyone age 18 through 39. Ignite meets weekly and combines Bible Study with service opportunities, and social events, to create a dynamic ministry for young adults. Ignite is based off the passage from 1 Pt 4: 8-11 which states:

"Above all, let your love for one another be intense, because love covers a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without complaining. As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace. Whoever preaches, let it be with the words of God; whoever serves, let it be with the strength that God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen"

FOR ADULTS:

Adult Faith Formation

This ministry provides opportunities for adult education and faith formation, and it provides for small Christian community faith formation. Membership is open to adults who are interested in the planning committee.

Christ Renews His Parish

Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) is open to Catholics age 18 and older. Parishioners attend an overnight weekend retreat on the SLDM campus. The retreat begins at 8:00 A.M., Saturday and ends at 3:00 P.M., Sunday. CRHP retreats take place in the spring and fall with teams for men and women on separate weekends.
