The St. Louis de Montfort Women's Group provides the opportunity for the women of our parish to enter into fellowship, spiritual growth, involvement, sacrifice, service, and support with Mary, the Mother of the Church, as their model. Any woman eighteen years or older is invited to participate.

SLDM Women's Group

2010-2011 Schedule

SLDM Women’s Group is for all women of the parish to come together to grow spiritually, provide service to our community and develop friendships.  The Women’s Group typically meets @ 7:30 pm on the first Tuesday of each month (Sept. to May).

2010-11 ACTIVITIES (subject to change):

September 7, 2010:   Wine & Cheese Party to welcome new members @ Erika Rowe’s house.

October 5, 2010:  Cookies by Design cookie decorating.  Learn how to decorate cookies @ Craig Willy Hall.

November 2, 2010:  Italian Dinner/Mardi de Montfort Gift Gathering Party @ Anna Connaughton’s house.

December 7, 2010:  Christmas Party and collection for our sponsor family @ Brandi Heck’s house

January 2011:  Day of Reflection annual retreat--(date, times and location TBD)

February 1, 2011:  "SWAP" Party and donations collected for battered women's shelter @ Craig Willy

March 2011:  Service month: Fish fry bake sale, lead Stations of the Cross followed by 24hr Adoration

April 5, 2011:  Spring Break.

April 12, 2011:  Social gathering (TBD)

May 3, 2011:  Guest speaker (TBD) in the Ministry Center.  Service month continued

Monthly Food Pantry Volunteers

October 29, 2010:  Trunk or Treat @ SLDM parking lot.

December 4, 2010:  Decorate, set-up and tear down for St. Nicholas Dinner in Craig Willy Hall

March 18 – April 15, 2011:  Provide desserts for the SLDM  Kof C Fish Frys (Fridays during Lent).
