St. Louis de Montfort School recognizes and appreciates the service of United States military service members, veterans, and their families. One of the oldest and ongoing traditions in our school is our annual Veteran’s Day ceremony during which we recognize veterans and show our appreciation to them.
"Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes." Ephesians 6:11

10 Verses for Veterans Basilica of the National Shrine of Immaculate Conception~ Whether you’ve served in the armed forces yourself or know someone who has, we invite you to reflect upon these verses of comfort and hope, resting in the assurance of God’s promises.
A Prayer of Gratitude for Veterans O God, we give you praise for these people who have allowed us to serve and worship You in freedom. We do not take for granted that there are millions of Christians around the world afraid of prison or even death because of what they believe. Our veterans are a significant reason why we do not fear and we thank You for them. Amen.
