Children must be enrolled in religious education classes or attend Catholic school for 1 year prior to the year in which the Sacraments are celebrated. (i.e. Your child MUST attend 1st grade RE or Catholic school in order to celebrate First Reconciliation and First Eucharist in his/her 2nd grade year.)

The sacrament of reconciliation is offered Wednesday evenings prior to the 6pm, Saturday mornings at 8:30am, or by appointment. Parish reconciliation services are held during Advent and Lent. To make an appointment with one of our priests, call 317-842-6778.
This sacrament of the anointing of the sick is administered by a priest for those whose health is impaired by physical or emotional illness or those about to undergo surgery. Call the parish office to schedule an anointing, 317-842-6778.
Weddings at St. Louis de Montfort should be scheduled one year in advance. According to diocesan policy, couples should have a sacramental preparation period of not less than six months prior to the wedding date. It is desirable that those to be married be registered parishioners for a year prior to the wedding. Couples wanting to schedule a wedding and/or marriage preparation must contact our Wedding Coordinator, Beth Craig at bcraig@sldmfishers.org.
Priests are ordained to be assistants to the bishops, and to offer the faithful the Gospel and the Sacraments. Deacons assist both bishops and priests; they are appointed to serve the faithful in works of mercy and to preach the Gospel (cf. Acts 6).
