Dear Parishioners of St. Louis de Montfort,
While the world may provide a thousand reasons not to be, I am filled with hope.
This is our new reality: in the wake of such a disruption to routines and activities, we now live in a world where people are looking for meaning, for community, for support, for truth. Fatigued by perpetual turmoil, the human heart longs for contact with their Creator, who alone provides true peace.
This is precisely what our Catholic faith provides. This is the reason St. Louis de Montfort exists. We were made for times like these. Yes, I am filled with hope. After all, Our Lord has assured us, "I have told you this so that you might have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world" (Jn 16:33).
While many are spending their time dreaming of life back to normal, we at St. Louis de Montfort are having more audacious thoughts. In the wake of twelve months of social fragmentation and isolation, we are dreaming of ways to bring the saving Truth of Jesus Christ and His Church to every souI in the Fishers area and beyond. We are planning ways to engage people from every sector of our society to personally experience His healing grace.
The salvation of souls in our community is at stake, and we need your help. This monumental task will require your faith, your efforts, your boldness, your resources... your commitment.
We humbly request all parish families make a pledge in February each year, so that we can begin the budgeting process in March. Our commitment Sunday will be held on the weekend of February 20th and 21st. Please take time to pray about your gift, then you can pledge online using the form below. Or, you can bring the enclosed Commitment Card with you to Mass, your pledge card can be mailed in the enclosed envelope, or you can drop it off to the parish office.
Parish giving is unique to each of us, but as you discern a gift please keep in mind Sacrificial Giving. Our skills and talents, our income and possessions are all gifts from God. Each of us must assess our current level of giving and prayerfully consider if this level adequately reflects our gratitude for who we are and what we have. Our sacrificial giving pledge is our return to God.
Thank you for your goodness to us. It's a joy to be on mission with you.
Under His Mercy,
Rev. Thomas J. Haan

Are you one of the 60 Parishioners who switched to online giving last year?
Last year saw unprecedented times as the world changed like we've never seen before. But the good news is it will change again for the better. Online Giving gave parishioners an opportunity to support our ministries even if you couldn't attend Mass and had to view it at home.
Because of lock downs and reduced seating at Mass, 60 parish families joined 227 other families in keeping their commitment/support to St. Louis de Montfort through online giving. And because of their generosity we were able to keep our formation and outreach programs going.
These 287 families enthusiastically embraced online giving and it has been a blessing to our parish. Online giving not only helps during a crisis but continues support to the parish during vacations, weather conditions, sickness, etc., which can take a toll on our finances as attendance varies, even in normal times. God's generosity does not change due to situations or the elements. He continues to pour his blessings on us. Signing up for online giving is an easy way to thank God each week for all your blessings and support His work here. You can CLICK HERE to sign-up. If you have questions, contact Bob Stephanak at bstephanak@sldmfishers.org or call the parish office 317-842-6778.

Our yearly renewal presents us with the opportunity to place God at the center of our lives and to reflect on our journey as individuals, families, and a parish community. Together we will use this renewal to express our gratitude and advance our mission. All commitments will be kept completely confidential and will not be disclosed in any way (a pledge is not a binding contact). However, it is our only method to properly budget for parish expenses.
Thank you, for being a member of St. Louis de Montfort and all you do for our parish.
